Current Students
Alongside academic training, we encourage students to explore their interests through exchange, mentorship, internships and personal development.
HKUST’s Clear Water Bay campus sits between hills and sea. Science students share a vigorous learning environment with continuous curriculum enhancement, student societies, and a calendar of seminars that bring world-class researchers to campus.
Departmental societies, the Science Students’ Union and special-interest groups organize academic conferences, outreach and social events that build a community across Life Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Ocean Science and Physics.
Undergraduate halls, postgraduate housing and a range of dining options sit on campus, supporting a residential experience that is central to university life at HKUST.
Counselling, advising and academic support services help students thrive. Faculty mentors in every unit guide undergraduates and postgraduates toward research, internships and further study.
