HKUST School of Science Honors Outstanding Faculty for Excellence in Research, Teaching, and Service

The School of Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology proudly presented the Teaching, Research, and Service Awards, honoring outstanding faculty members whose work advances discovery, inspires students and strengthens the academic community.

Awardees span the Division of Life Science and the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics, Ocean Science and Physics. Their portfolios include highly cited publications, transformative classroom practice, and service that raises the School’s profile locally and globally.

Dean Yung Hou WONG said the awards reflect the School’s conviction that high-quality education requires dedicated educators — scholars who instill scientific rigor and ethics while mentoring students to achieve their full potential.
