HKUST Appoints Dr. Zhang Chaoyang as Adjunct Professor

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is honored to appoint Dr. ZHANG Chaoyang as Adjunct Professor in its Department of Chemistry. The appointment recognizes Dr. Zhang’s distinguished contributions to chemical science and his commitment to mentoring the next generation of researchers.

Dr. Zhang will collaborate with faculty and students across the School of Science on research, seminars and industry-facing education. His appointment strengthens the School’s bridges between academic discovery and real-world application.

Dean of Science Prof. Yung Hou WONG welcomed the appointment, noting that visiting and adjunct scholars enrich the School’s intellectual community and expand opportunities for students to learn from leaders in the field.
